I love going above and beyond when it comes to holidays. My mom always made the holidays extra special, so I must have picked that up from her. She would go all out because she knew it made us kids happy.
I love that it wasn't for anyone else but just for our family to experience joy. No Instagram worthy photos, no Pinterest, just special memories. Many included small moments reading some of our favorite Valentine's books for kids or making homemade Valentines cards.
Now I do the same thing and make an event of each holiday to make fun memories with my children for the same reason. No matter the holiday, I decorate and make treats for the occasion to make the day feel special.
There are so many options for Valentines gifts, like these adorable ideas for babies or fun gifts for a college girlfriend. I personally love holiday treats like our red velvet cake mix cookies or a homemade Valentines charcuterie board as a gift.
You can also take some ideas from our Easter basket ideas for adults, teens, and babies. If you can't tell, we are all about fun holiday presents. While you are passing out presents, sip on this delicious Valentines mocktail.
Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday because it is all about love. It is the perfect opportunity to make special treats for those you love. The best part is that you can have some of these festive treats too.
I love to help my kids make these easy Valentine's Day treats for their classmates because they are a great way to try new ideas. Sometimes it is fun to try something different than the typical Valentine's Day cards.
