See St George City's 4th of July fireworks show for an incredible fireworks display. It is the biggest fireworks show in St George. The fireworks are launched from the old airport ridge starting at 10:00 PM.
You can tune in to the local radio station, 99.9 KONY Country, for a patriotic tribute filled with patriotic music and narration that is synced to the fireworks. The fireworks are fantastic with music but are just as great on their own.
St George's firework show is probably the largest firework show I have ever seen. There are many different kinds of fireworks with different colors, shapes, and sounds. They really do a fantastic job with this event.

Watch Fireworks
One of the great things about the 4th of July is that fireworks are everywhere. You can go to the town's 4th of July celebration to watch the fireworks or watch them from your backyard.
Sometimes we love gathering with our neighbors on the street and having our own fireworks show. The kids love it, and it is super simple. Yes, you have to pay for the fireworks, but you won't have to worry about traffic and finding seats.
Watching fireworks from home is especially helpful when you have younger children. That way they can run around your yard and enjoy the fireworks without having to worry about big crowds.
If you feel uncomfortable doing fireworks at home, you could do sparklers. They are super easy and are on the safer side. Always be careful with fireworks and have a bucket of water nearby, but sparklers are pretty safe.
Have a 4th of July Picnic
A picnic is perfect for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Picnics are a wonderful way to get outside and enjoy nature while also spending time with your family. Great memories can be made by having picnics.
My kids love helping me pack up the food for picnics. We will plan the menu, use pretty silverware, and make fun treats. Plus, the kids love putting everything into the picnic basket.
You can also pack a back full of outdoor toys like a soccer ball, frisbee, a kite, or whatever your kids would love. Make a whole afternoon of your family's 4th of July picnic. Oh, and make sure you pack sunscreen.
Make Homemade Root Beer
Making homemade root beer has become one of my children's favorite activities in the summer. This recipe is almost like a science experiment, which my kids love. Plus, this root beer is divine, which I love.
You and your kiddos could make this root beer for your 4th of July picnic, for your neighborhood fireworks show, or to sip on while you play in the backyard. You really can't go wrong with homemade root beer.
Have a Barbecue
What is more American than a classic barbecue? You are cooking burgers and hot dogs, drinking some ice-cold lemonade, and listening to your favorite music; it is perfect!
A barbecue can be as big or as small as you would like. It could be a small one in your backyard with family or you could have a block party with all of your neighbors. Barbecues are a fantastic way to celebrate the 4th.
Food, especially during holidays, is a way that people come together. Everyone brings their favorite recipes and shares them with their family and friends. That is what the 4th of July is all about.
Make Popsicles
One way to combat to July heat is to make yummy popsicles. Kids will love to help make the popsicles, and luckily, popsicles are pretty easy to make. Always make sure you have room in your freezer before making them, though.
The best and easiest way to make popsicles is to use a popsicle mold. You can find a ton of popsicle molds out there. Some even come in fun shapes and sizes.
If you do not have a popsicle mold, you can use a muffin tin, aluminum foil, and a wooden stick. You can use small cups as well. Get creative and have fun making your tasty treats.
Watch 4th of July Movies
Watching 4th of July movies is one way to really get you into the holiday spirit. There are tons of movies out there that you could watch and you may not even realize they are related to the 4th of July.
You could go for a documentary or a historical film to learn about American history or more family-friendly movies if you have little ones. I am always a big fan of musicals. I am sure you will find a movie that everyone will love.
Movies are perfect for rainy days. The 4th of July is typically a holiday you would spend outside, but if it is rainy outside, you should try out some 4th of July movies.
Play Backyard Games
Whenever I think of the 4th of July, I think of being outside. You can enjoy family time and spend time in the sunshine. Everyone can pick their favorite game, and you could even make it a tournament!
There is cornhole, horseshoes, ladder toss, lawn bowling, spikeball, and many others. You could also jump rope, color with chalk, and play tic-tac-toe. The options are endless.
Make S'mores
We love s'mores any time of year (we make them in the oven in the winter), but the 4th of July is the perfect time to make s'mores. Sitting around a bonfire after dinner, when it starts to cool down a bit, is a great way to spend the evening.
The kids are probably tired after playing in the sun all day, and you need an activity before the fireworks start, so making s'mores by the fire is the perfect solution. Who does not love chocolate and marshmallows?
Making s'mores may be a trick if you have younger children, but older kids will love holding the skewer with the marshmallow. The responsibility allows them to feel grown up and they get to make a tasty treat.
Create an At-Home Waterpark
This does not have to be as complicated as it sounds. You could pull out the hose and have your kids run through the water. They will absolutely love it.
If you want to try something a little more advanced, grab some water balloons and have a water balloon fight. You can lay a tarp out and turn the hose on for a water slide. Sometimes it is easier if you have a small hill to put the tarp on.
Here is a life hack: have your kids wash your car! They will love spraying the hose on the car and playing with the soap. The kids will have fun, and you will have a clean car.
All that matters is that you are having fun celebrating our country. You have tons of options to choose from in the city of St George when it comes to 4th of July celebrations.
St George provides fun ways to celebrate Independence Day with your friends, families, and neighbors. Now it is up to you to choose what you will do!
We hope you have an excellent 4th of July! Remember, stay safe, especially when using fireworks.
