Notes

Make ahead and storage instructions

Make ahead: Like traditional charcuterie boards, can make this easter cheese board a few hours ahead of time, cover with plastic wrap, and store in the fridge. You can also prep fresh ingredients like vegetables and fruits ahead of time and store in an airtight container to streamline the assembly process.
Storage: Store any leftover treats in airtight containers or resealable bags to maintain freshness. Leftover candies can be used to make an Easter version of this easy christmas popcorn

Recipe variations

  • Gluten-free: Replace any gluten containing ingredient with the gluten free version. This is the best way to include those who have celiac disease or another gluten intolerance.
  • Savory board: If you already have a variety of desserts at your Easter dinner, consider making a savory version. Include a variety of savory meats, soft cheeses, crackers, hard-boiled eggs, fresh vegetables, etc. You can shape the cheese to be easter bunnies or eggs, and include little salami roses.
  • The kid friendly option: If you've got a bunch of picky eaters, consider making a board filled with fun colorful snacks like gold fish, gummy bears, cheese cubes, fresh fruits, etc. Mini pretzels and veggie sticks with ranch is a great healthy snack for kids as well.
  • Your favorite Easter candy: Adding more Easter candies like chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, or marshmallow peeps makes a great addition to the delicious grazing board.
