Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 hard taco shells and tostada bowls
  • 15 ounce can of olives
  • 15 ounce can of beans
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (we use the Siete brand)
  • 8 ounces salsa
  • 8 ounces queso (we use the Siete brand)
  • 8 ounces cooked Mexican rice
  • 2-3 individual guacamole cups
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 small bottle of hot sauce
  • 2 cups fresh lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces Mexican wedding cookies

Instructions

  • Brown the meat and place it in a bowl then put it on your board in the bottom right corner
  • Place taco shells and tostada bowls on the board near the meat
  • Add salsa, queso, olives, beans and rice to small bowls and place the small bowls around the board wherever you see fit
  • Add the individual cups of guacamole and place the bottle of hot sauce at the back of the board
  • Arrange tortilla chips around the bowls leaving some space for the fresh veggies
  • Slice the avocados in half and remove pit then place them in twos on two different spots of the board
  • Fill in the remaining space with fresh cilantro, lettuce and the jalapeños (I slice one and leave one whole for a fun look but still leaving it functional)
  • Finish by adding it the Mexican wedding cookies to the top of the board where nothing else touching it will make them soggy or taste weird

Notes

Storing - Leftover meats, veggies, and cheeses can be stored in plastic bags or airtight containers in the refrigerator. We recommend tossing the leftover taco shells (they become soggy).
Freezing -You could make the taco meat ahead of time, but everything else should not be frozen.
